Etihad, sponsors of Harlequins hosted a pitch day with a 'world cup' 7's rugby tournament at the Stoop, Twickenham on Friday 02 September.

A hot day especially for the players involved saw teams from the leisure, corporate and cargo industry represent countries from the rugby nations in many closely fought matches. Sadly the team from selling Long Haul did not make it through to the latter stages despite a valiant effort and lack of rugby players in their squad. The final saw Ireland and South Africa battling it out for the trophy, with South Africa being victorious by the closest of margins.

The day was rounded off with a Q&A session with Harlequins players Tom Williams and Danny Care and Director of Rugby Connor O'Shea.
